Disclaimer! Our Classifieds section may be used as an 'at your own risk' kinda basis. There is lots of stolen/broken/rippoff gear out there that the knuckleheads are going to try to unload, and you should know what you are doing before making your transaction. I just post the stuff, and won't make much of an effort to filter out the bad guys. Light as heck and stiff. Annual bearing repack with Phil Wood grease, annual freehub cleaning and re-lube with DuMonde Tech liquid grease. These babies spin as smooth as greased moose poop and the freehub runs nearly dead silent. Only one issue: the rear rim has a minor flat spot where the side of the rim is bent a tad outwards. I never noticed it until I put on rear rim brakes and noticed a pulse in the brake handle.
Good upgrade for somebody looking to go to disc brakes.

I went through a lot of stems to find a good bar position. Sette Edge stem- Stupid light at 142 grams, but still stiff. 10 degree rise by 110mm reach. $15 Titec Big Al DH stem. 4 bolt cap, silver, 25 degree rise by 110mm long, Way stiff and not too portly at 225 grams. $20 Race Face Prodegee Stem. Two bolt cap, 8 degree rise by 100mm long. Clamp bolts up the side so you don't split your knee open on them if you stack. $10
